The load board is used to connect the test unit of the testing device and the physical and circuit interfaces of the device under test (DUT). It can be fixed on the probe test console, handler, or other testing hardware. The wires of the load board are connected to the probe of the internal signal test card of the test machine and the pins of the DUT.

The load board is mainly used in yield testing after back-end IC packaging of the semiconductor.The testing in this phase aims to sorting ICs with incomplete functions, thereby further ensuring the IC quality and avoid product scrapping due to detective ICs. The models include 93K, T2000, and TUF series.
